Zălan ( Hungarian Zalán ) is a village in the Szeklerland ( Transylvania ), in the Covasna County , Romania . It is located in the historical area of the Hungarian county of Háromszék in the Baraolt Mountains , about 11 km north of the town of Sfântu Gheorghe . The village is part of the Bodoc municipality . There are many mineral springs in the region.
