Zachary Christopher Ensminger (born April 30, 2001 ) is an American - German basketball player .

career

The son of long-time Bundesliga player Chris Ensminger played in the youth of Telekom Baskets Bonn , then of Science City Jena and from 2015 in the youth of the club "Basketball in Gotha". In 2016, Ensminger was named the best newcomer to the youth basketball league (JBBL). In addition, in the 2016/17 season he played for Gotha's second men's team in the 2nd regional league, with which he made it to the 1st regional league.

For the 2017/18 season he moved to Ulm, made the leap into the squad of the OrangeAcademy  ( 2nd Bundesliga ProA ), which  serves the Bundesliga club ratiopharm Ulm as a youth development team, and was still used in the youth team. With the men's team of the OrangeAcademy, he suffered relegation from the 2nd Bundesliga ProA in the 2017/18 season. In October 2019 he was in the game against Ludwigsburg for the first time for Ratiopharm Ulm in a game of the basketball Bundesliga .

In mid-June 2020, the Quakenbrück second division team Artland Dragons  Ensminger announced.
