The United Brotherhood Colliery in Essen-Burgaltendorf is a former coal mine . The mine was also known as the United Brotherhood Colliery . The mine was shut down and reopened several times during its operating time.
Mining history
In 1780, consolidated all muted mine fields around the colliery brotherhood . The award took place on November 9, 1822 , and the mine went into operation after the award. The Berechtsame included at this time an area of 3.3 km 2 . In 1828 the mine was still in operation, from March 1830 only prospecting work was carried out.
