Zeitldorf is a district of the Metten market in the Lower Bavarian district of Deggendorf .
location
Zeitldorf is located on the Danube about three kilometers southwest of Metten north of the DEG 15 district road .
history
In Zidelara , Zidlarin or Ceydlarn with his mighty family of the early 11th century is probably not around today Zeitldorf, but upper / Unterzeitldorn . Zeitldorf is likely to be one of the oldest places in the Metten area , as the colonization work of the Metten Monastery in the immediate vicinity apparently had little importance for a long time. The place belonged to the Haebisch office with its center Mariaposching . When the community was formed in 1818/1821, Zeitldorf became part of the Metten community. Unlike the other parts of the municipality of Metten, it does not belong to the Metten parish, but to the Mariaposching parish. Zeildorf is also a historical notation on maps . In the 1987 census, the hamlet of Zeitldorf had 38 inhabitants.
Attractions
Four architectural monuments are listed in Zeitldorf, including two stables and a traid box. There is also the Zeitldorf village chapel , a neo-Romanesque saddle roof building with a turret that dates from the second half of the 19th century.
