Zella is a district of the municipality of Krölpa in the Saale-Orla district in Thuringia . Zella is about one and a half kilometers north-west of the Krölpa village.

history

Zella was first mentioned in a document on May 5, 1229. Zella belonged to the electoral office of Arnshaugk until 1815 and after its assignment, decided at the Congress of Vienna , came to the Prussian district of Ziegenrück , to which the place belonged until 1945.

Zella was incorporated into the municipality of Krölpa on July 1, 1950.

The population was 127 in 1933 and rose to 138 in 1939.
