Central fines Office
In Germany, central fines are responsible for punishing traffic offenses for a larger administrative unit (mostly at state level ).
It is common practice to punish such administrative offenses at city, district and local level. The central fine offices are an exception here.
Nationwide central fine offices are set up in:
- Baden-Württemberg: Central office for fines at the Karlsruhe Regional Council
- Bavaria: Central office for fines in the Bavarian Police Administration Office in Viechtach
- Brandenburg: Central penalty office of the police in Gransee
- Hesse: Central administrative fines of the state of Hesse at the Kassel regional council
- Rhineland-Palatinate: Central police office in Speyer
- Saxony: Central office for fines at the State Office of Saxony , Chemnitz location
- Saxony-Anhalt: Central fine office in Magdeburg
- Thuringia: Central fines office in Artern
Nationwide central fine office:
- Federal Government: The Federal Police has set up a central fines office for the punishment and prosecution of administrative offenses at the Federal Police Headquarters in Potsdam . In Department 7 of the Federal Police Headquarters, administrative offense proceedings are initiated at the Schwandorf and Halle (Saale) duty stations and procedures submitted by the Federal Police Directorates and inspections are processed further. The Federal Police prosecute and punish in accordance with Section 13 (1) of the Federal Police Act , etc. a. Administrative offenses according to Residence Act , PassG , EBO and OWiG .
