Zhao Shasha

Zhao Shasha (born September 17, 1987 in Binzhou , Shandong Province , People's Republic of China ) is a Chinese wrestler . She won a bronze medal at the 2010 and 2011 World Championships and is also three-time Asian champion, each in free style in the weight class up to 48 kg body weight.

Career

Zhao Shasha only started wrestling at the age of 18 in 2005. She is a member of the Shandong Province selection team and has been trained by Xiu Zhentao since 2005. She is a student. At a height of 1.61 meters, she wrestles in all important competitions in the weight class up to 48 kg, the lightest weight class in women's wrestling.

In May 2010 she took part for the first time in the Asian Cup, which took place in New Delhi, and won the title there ahead of Fuyoko Mimuro from Japan. In September 2010 it was also used at the World Cup in Moscow. There she lost her first fight against Lorissa Oorschak from Russia, afterwards she won a bronze medal with victories over Wanessa Kaladschinskaja , Belarus and Patimat Bagomedowa , Azerbaijan. After all, in 2010 she started at the Asian Games in Guangzhou. But she was eliminated early and only came in 11th place.

In 2011 Zhao Shasha was again the Asian champion in Tashkent. She referred Dawaasüchiin Otgontsetseg , Mongolia, Han Kum-ok , North Korea and Hikari Sagawara, Japan, to their places. At the 2011 World Cup in Istanbul she won over Babita Kumari , India and Jessica Blaszka, Netherlands and Tatjana Samkowa , Russia. Then she lost to the multiple world champion Hitomi Obara Sakamoto from Japan and came in the fight for a bronze medal to a victory over the Olympic champion of 2008 Carol Huynh from Canada.

In 2012 she won the Asian championship for the third time in a row in Gumi / South Korea. She won ahead of Lee Yu-mi, South Korea, Michrniso Nurmatowa, Kyrgyzstan and Eri Tosaka from Japan. Her participation in the 2012 Olympic Games in London, for which she was qualified with third place at the 2011 World Championships, became a debacle for her. She lost her first fight there against Clarissa Chun from the United States clearly with 0: 6 points. Since Clarissa Chun did not reach the final, Zhao Shasha was eliminated and only came in 18th and penultimate place due to her high point defeat (0: 6 points).
