Location of Ziegelhütte in Bavaria

The deserted brick hut is a deserted village on the territory of the municipality Dieterskirchen in district Schwandorf .

Geographical location

Ziegelhütte is located about three kilometers northeast of Dieterskirchen and about two kilometers west of federal road 22 in a forest clearing, about 200 meters north of the Ascha on the southeast slope of the 633 meter high Geberberg.

The former desert brickworks is now (2014) marked on the map as abandoned.

history

As of March 23, 1913 (Easter), Ziegelhütte was listed as part of the Dieterskirchen parish with one house and 13 residents. Ziegelhütte was registered as a district of the Dieterskirchen community in 1964. On December 31, 1990, Ziegelhütte was uninhabited and belonged to the Dieterskirchen parish.
