Frauenhäusl is a district of the community Dieterskirchen in the Upper Palatinate district of Schwandorf ( Bavaria ).

Geographical location

Frauenhäusl is located about four kilometers south of Dieterskirchen and about one kilometer east of State Road 2398 , on the northern edge of an extensive forest area with the Alten Thannstein (635 m), the Knock (667 m), the Platte (616 m) and the Warnberg (568 m) m) and on the north slope of the Warnberg massif. Frauenhäusl is located on the banks of the Moosbach, which rises about three kilometers further east at Prackendorf and flows into the Ascha about one kilometer further west at Katharinenthal .

history

As of March 23, 1913 (Easter), Frauenhäusl was listed as part of the Dieterskirchen parish with two houses and 13 residents. Frauenhäusl was registered as a district of the Bach community in 1964. When the Bach community was dissolved in 1975, Frauenhäusl came to the Dieterskirchen community.

On December 31, 1990 Frauenhäusl had 6 inhabitants and belonged to the parish Dieterskirchen.

Culture and sights

From Frauenhäusl you can ascend a steep path to the resting chapel and the Warberg castle stables to an altitude of 100 meters.
