Pottenhofermühle is located about two kilometers east of Dieterskirchen, one kilometer south of State Road 2398 on the banks of the Ascha .

history

Pottenhofermühle is the mill belonging to the village Pottenhof, about 200 meters southeast of the village on the banks of the Ascha. Since 1631 a mill has been performed for the village of Pottenhof. One can assume that it is the Pottenhofermühle, although it was only mentioned under this name at the beginning of the 19th century.

According to an ordinance of 1808, the district court of Neunburg vorm Wald was divided into 55 tax districts. Dieterskirchen formed a tax district with the villages of Bach, Dieterskirchen, Kolmhof, Pottenhof, Pottenhofermühle, Saggau, Silbermühle, Stegen and Weichelau.
