The district court of Neunburg vorm Wald was a Bavarian district court of the older order that existed from 1803 to 1879 and was based in Neunburg vorm Wald in what is now the district of Schwandorf . In the Kingdom of Bavaria , the regional courts were judicial and administrative authorities, which were replaced in administrative matters by the district offices in 1862 and in legal matters by the local courts in 1879 .

In 1803, in the course of the administrative restructuring of Bavaria, the district court Neunburg vorm Wald was established. This came first to the Naabkreis and in 1810 to the Regenkreis . In 1838 the rain district was renamed the Oberpfalz district , from which the administrative district of the same name emerged .

On the occasion of the introduction of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, the Neunburg vorm Wald district court was established with the same district as that of the previous Neunburg vorm Wald district court, consisting of the towns of Alletsried , Altenschwand , Bach , Berg , Boden , Bodenwöhr (until 1921 Neuenschwand) , Dautersdorf , Demeldorf , Dieterskirchen , Egelsried , Eixendorf , Erzhäuser , Fuhrn , Großenzenried , Haag near Schwarzhofen , Hansenried , Hillstett , Katzdorf , Kemnath near Fuhrn , Kleinwinklarn , Kröblitz , Kulz , Lengfeld , Meißenberg , Mitteraschau , Neukirchen-Balbini , Neunburg vorm Wald , Penting , Pillmersried , Prackendorf , Rauberweiherhaus , Schwarzeneck , Schwarzhofen , Seebarn , Sonnenried , Taxöldern , Thann , Thanstein , Uckersdorf , Unterauerbach , Weislitz and Zangenstein .
