Uckersdorf is a district of the municipality of Schwarzhofen in the Upper Palatinate district of Schwandorf ( Bavaria ).
Geographical location
Uckersdorf the mouth located about four kilometers northwest of Schwarzhofen, 600 meters northeast state road 2159 in the state road 2040 in Murachtal and about 500 meters northeast of the mouth of the Murach in the Schwarzach .
history
Beginnings up to the 18th century
Uckersdorf (also: Ukkandorf, Vkhorsdorf, Vchkersdorff Uckersdorff) was first mentioned in 1270 when Duke Ludwig II gave 10 fiefs to Uckersdorf to the Walderbach monastery . In the Duke's Surbar of 1285, Uckersdorf was listed with 11 courtyards. At that time it belonged to the Altendorf office together with Meischendorf .
In the Battle of Hiltersried , which Count Palatine Johann led against the Hussites in 1433 , one of the Uckersdorfer who fought with him died.
Uckersdorf is listed in the sample registers 1522 with 9 teams and 1572 with 6 teams for Uckersdorf and 2 teams for Katzdorf.
In 1622 there were 6 farms and 2 estates in Uckersdorf. In 1661 Uckersdorf had 9 properties, 3 horses, 68 cattle, 16 pigs, a sheep and 5 goats.
In 1775, 8 owners and 4 residents belonged to the inner office of Neunburg vorm Wald in Uckersdorf . At the end of the 18th century, three farms, one estate and two properties in Uckersdorf became part of the Walderbach monastery.
19th century to the present
According to an ordinance of 1808, the district court of Neunburg vorm Wald was divided into 55 tax districts. Haag near Schwarzhofen formed a tax district with the towns of Denglarn, Girnitz, Höfen near Uckersdorf, Krimling, Laubenhof, Raggau and Uckersdorf. At that time Uckersdorf had 9 properties and 66 residents.
From 1830 to 1972 Uckersdorf formed an independent community together with the villages of Girnitz, Höfen bei Uckersdorf and Schönau.
On March 23, 1913 (Easter), Uckersdorf was listed as part of the Schwarzhofen parish with 10 houses and 75 inhabitants. On January 1, 1972, the community Uckersdorf was incorporated into the community Schwarzhofen.
On December 31, 1990 Uckersdorf had 50 inhabitants and belonged to the parish of Schwarzhofen.

Personalities
The painter , sculptor , filmmaker and object artist Max Bresele (1944–1998) lived and worked in Uckersdorf until his death . The Max Bresele Prize awarded during the Regensburg Short Film Week for a politically relevant short film is named after him. In addition to other exhibitions, an exhibition of his works together with works by Karl Aichinger , organized by the Kunstverein Weiden, took place in October 2011 .
