Grasdorf is a district of the municipality of Schwarzhofen in the Upper Palatinate district of Schwandorf ( Bavaria ).
Geographical location
Grasdorf is located about three kilometers (five kilometers by road) west of Schwarzhofen in the middle of an extensive forest area on a ridge that extends in a north-west-south-east direction between Schwarzach and Auerbach. It is formed by the following mountains (from north to south): Stab-Berg (465 m), Herzog-Berg (516 m), Tannen-Berg (535 m), Buchen-Berg (526 m), Atlas-Berg (568 m) m), Steinriegel (541 m) and Bursching (496 m).
history
Beginnings until the 18th century
In the pattern registers for Grasdorf (also: Craßdorff, Crastorf, Crästorf, Krästorf, Krastorf) 5 teams each were recorded in 1522, 1572, in 1661 after the end of the Thirty Years War only four teams were recorded.
In 1622 Grasdorf had four farms, three estates a Sölde and one inhabitant , in 1631 three farms, one estate, one Gütel, three inhabitants (including a shepherd and a shepherd), 47 cattle, 8 pigs and a beehive. In 1661, after the end of the Thirty Years' War , one of the three farms had partially collapsed and there were still two estates, a house, three residents, a horse and 25 cattle.
In 1762 there were 7 properties in Grasdorf, three neighboring houses, a hut, 7 owners and 7 residents (including two day workers and two guardians). At the end of the 18th century, an estate and a farm in Grasdorf became part of the Walderbach monastery .
19th century to the present
According to an ordinance of 1808, the district court of Neunburg vorm Wald was divided into 55 tax districts. Grasdorf formed a tax district with the villages of Demeldorf, Geratshofen, Höfen bei Grasdorf and Mallersdorf. At that time Grasdorf had 6 properties and 46 residents.
In 1820 rural communities were formed. The rural community Demeldorf was created, which consisted of the villages of Demeldorf with 7 families, Geratshofen with 7 families, Grasdorf with 6 families, Höfen bei Grasdorf with three families and Mallersdorf with four families.
On March 23, 1913 (Easter), Grasdorf was listed as part of the Schwarzhofen parish with 6 houses and 31 residents. When the community of Demeldorf was incorporated into the community of Schwarzhofen in 1960, Grasdorf became part of the community of Schwarzhofen.
On December 31, 1990, Grasdorf had 31 residents and belonged to the parish of Schwarzhofen.
