Denglarn is a district of the community of Schwarzhofen in the Upper Palatinate district of Schwandorf ( Bavaria ).

Geographical location

Denglarn is located about four kilometers north of Schwarzhofen.

history

Beginnings until the 18th century

Denglarn (also: Denchelingen, Denchilingen, Tonegern, Tonigeren, Tomgaern, Denglern) was the seat of Diepoldingian ministerials in the 12th century . Denglarn was mentioned in the land register in 1285 and 1326 with seven farms, and in 1499 with six farms. In 1300, Duke Rudolf of Bavaria pledged the village of Denglarn for 50 pounds Regensburg pfennigs to Hermann, Ulrich's son, Marshal von Lengenuelt.

In the Battle of Hiltersried , which Count Palatine Johann led against the Hussites in 1433 , one of the Denglarner who was fighting died.

In 1622 there were three farms, five estates and one Sölde in Denglarn . In 1631 Denglarn belonged to the inner office of Neunburg vorm Wald and had three farms, 5 estates, a Gütel, a resident (guardian), 87 cattle, 19 pigs, 56 sheep, 4 goats and 4 beehives. 1661 after the end of the Thirty Years' War three farms, 5 estates, a Gütel, a resident (guardian), 56 cattle, 2 pigs, 25 sheep, 2 goats and a beehive.

At the end of the 18th century, 12 properties and one community Hüthaus were listed for Denglarn.

19th century to the present

According to an ordinance of 1808, the district court of Neunburg vorm Wald was divided into 55 tax districts. Haag near Schwarzhofen formed a tax district with the towns of Denglarn, Girnitz, Höfen near Uckersdorf, Krimling, Laubenhof, Raggau and Uckersdorf. At that time Denglarn had 12 properties, a farrier, a landlord and 81 residents.

From 1830 to 1972 Haag near Schwarzhofen formed an independent municipality together with the towns of Denglarn, Krimling, Laubenhof and Raggau.

On March 23, 1913 (Easter), Denglarn was listed as part of the Schwarzhofen parish with 13 houses and 73 inhabitants. When the community of Haag bei Schwarzhofen was incorporated into the community of Schwarzhofen in 1972, Denglarn became part of the community of Schwarzhofen. On December 31, 1990 Denglarn had 77 inhabitants and belonged to the parish of Schwarzhofen.
