The District Court of Neunburg vorm Wald was a Bavarian court of ordinary jurisdiction that existed from 1879 to 1973 and was based in Neunburg vorm Wald .

On the occasion of the introduction of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, a district court was established in Neunburg vorm Wald with the same district as that of the previous district court Neunburg vorm Wald , consisting of the places Alletsried , Altenschwand , Bach , Berg , Boden , Bodenwöhr (until 1921 Neuenschwand ), Dautersdorf , Demeldorf , Dieterskirchen , Egelsried , Eixendorf , Erzhäuser , Fuhrn , Großenzenried ,Hague in Schwarzhofen , Hans Ried , Hillstett , Katzdorf , Kemnath at Fuhrn , Kleinwinklarn , Kröblitz , Kulz , Lengfeld , Meissen Mountain , Mitter Aschau , Neukirchen-Balbini , Neunburg vorm Wald, Penting , Pillmersried , Prackendorf , Rauber Weiherhaus , Schwarzeneck , Schwarzhofen , Seebarn , sun Ried , Taxöldern , Thann , Thanstein , Uckersdorf , Unterauerbach , Weislitz and Zangenstein . The higher-level instances were the Amberg Regional Court and the Nuremberg Higher Regional Court . With the entry into force of the Law on the Organization of Ordinary Courts in the Free State of Bavaria (GerOrgG) on July 1, 1973, the District Court of Neunburg vorm Wald was repealed and its district, with the exception of the districts of Großenzenried, Hillstett , which were added to the District Court of Cham as part of the new district of Cham and Pillmersried assigned to the Schwandorf District Court .

The district court had its seat in Neunburg Castle in front of the forest .
