Holzhaus is a district of the municipality Dieterskirchen in the Upper Palatinate district of Schwandorf ( Bavaria ).

Geographical location

Holzhaus is located about four kilometers south of Dieterskirchen on the northern edge of an extensive forest area with the Alten Thannstein (635 m), the Knock (667 m), the Platte (616 m) and the Warnberg (568 m), on the northwest slope of the Platte.

history

On March 23, 1913 (Easter), Holzhaus was listed as part of the Dieterskirchen parish with one house and four residents. At that time, Holzhaus was part of the Dautersdorf community . In 1972 the community of Dautersdorf was incorporated with all parts of the community into the community of Thanstein, with which the place became part of the community of Thanstein . From 1981 the place came to the community Dieterskirchen.

On December 31, 1990, Holzhaus had 7 residents and belonged to the Dieterskirchen parish.
