Zieskenbachmühle is a residential area in the town of Putlitz of the Putlitz-Berge office in the Prignitz district in Brandenburg .

geography

The place is three kilometers south of the city of Putlitz, 13 kilometers northwest of Pritzwalk and 20 kilometers northeast of Perleberg , the seat of the Prignitz district. The settlement is located in the district of Putlitz.

Neighboring towns are Putlitz in the north, Hochheim and Schmarsow in the northeast, Mertensdorf in the east, Triglitz in the southeast, Laaske in the south, Mansfeld in the southwest, and Konikow in the northwest.

The settlement is located on the eponymous Zieskenbach , a left tributary of the Stepenitz , into which it flows only around 400 meters west of here. To the east of the former mill, the Zieskenbach is dammed into three elongated bodies of water lying one behind the other. The living space is surrounded by the landscape and bird sanctuary “Agrarlandschaft Prignitz-Stepenitz”. Immediately to the west of the village is the nature conservation and FFH area of ​​the same name Stepenitz.
