The Zilma ( Russian Цильма ) is a left tributary of the Pechora in the Komi Republic and in Arkhangelsk Oblast in north-western Russia .
The Zilma rises on the Timan ridge . It flows mainly in an easterly direction and takes its most important tributaries, Kosma and Tobysch , from the left. It finally flows into the Pechora after 374 km. The Zilma drains an area of 21,500 km². It is covered by a layer of ice between November and April. It is mainly fed by the snowmelt. The mean discharge (MQ) 54 km above the mouth is 228 m³ / s.
