Zinder III is one of the five arrondissements of the city of Zinder in Niger .

Zinder III is in the north of the city. It borders the Arrondissement Zinder II in the east and the Arrondissement Zinder IV in the southwest . The neighboring rural communities are Dakoussa in the north and Tirmini in the northwest.

The arrondissement is divided into the districts of Ali Yaro, Alkali, Djaguindi I, Gawan Wali, Hippodrome, Jaguindi, Manzo, Tambari and Toudoun Djamouss, as well as several rural villages and hamlets .

The administrative unit Zinder III was founded as a municipality ( commune urbaine ) in 2002 when the city of Zinder was converted into a community of five municipalities ( communauté urbaine ). In 2010 the five arrondissements emerged from the municipalities of Zinders.

At the 2012 census, Zinder III had 55,995 inhabitants who lived in 9,260 households. At the 2001 census, the population was 38,761 in 6613 households.
