Zinder II is one of the five arrondissements of the city of Zinder in Niger .

Zinder II is in the northeast of the city. It borders in the south on the Arrondissement Zinder I , in the southwest on the Arrondissement Zinder IV and in the west on the Arrondissement Zinder III . The neighboring rural communities are Dakoussa in the north and Gaffati in the east.

The arrondissement is divided into the districts of Dispensaire, Garin Malam, Kara Kara I, Kara Kara II and Kara Kara III, as well as several rural villages and hamlets .

The administrative unit Zinder II was founded as a municipality ( commune urbaine ) in 2002 , when the city of Zinder was converted into a community of five municipalities ( communauté urbaine ). In 2010 the five arrondissements emerged from the municipalities of Zinders.

At the 2012 census, Zinder II had 68,984 residents who lived in 10,739 households. At the 2001 census, the population was 43,505 in 7,406 households.
