Zinder IV is one of the five arrondissements of the city of Zinder in Niger .

Zinder IV is in the northwest of the city. It borders the Arrondissement Zinder III in the northeast, the Arrondissement Zinder II in the east and the Arrondissement Zinder I in the southeast . The neighboring rural communities are Tirmini in the west and Droum in the southwest.

The arrondissement is divided into the districts Charé Adoua, Charé I, Charé II, Charé Kollia, Charé Zamna II, Haro Banda (Bayan Roua), Karkada and N'Wala as well as several rural villages and hamlets .

The administrative unit Zinder IV was founded as a municipality ( commune urbaine ) in 2002 , when the city of Zinder was converted into a community of five municipalities ( communauté urbaine ). In 2010 the five arrondissements emerged from the municipalities of Zinders.

At the 2012 census, Zinder IV had 80,923 inhabitants who lived in 12,802 households. At the 2001 census, the population was 41,440 in 7071 households.
