Zlata Bartl
Zlata Bartl (born February 20, 1920 in Sarajevo , Kingdom of Yugoslavia , † July 30, 2008 in Koprivnica , Croatia ) was a Yugoslav chemist .
In the Podravka training laboratories the spice was developed under her leadership Vegeta . This earned her the name Teta Vegeta (German: Aunt Vegeta).
Life
Zlata Bartl attended elementary school and high school in Sarajevo . After graduating from high school , she studied philosophy in Zagreb , which enabled her to work as a school professor in Sarajevo. She also graduated from the Faculty of Natural Sciences at the University of Zagreb with a degree in chemistry , physics and mineralogy .
In 1956 she went to Koprivnica to work as a laboratory assistant at Podravka. Under her leadership, the development and production of instant soups began in 1957 and the production of Vegeta in 1958. In 1976 Zlata Bartl retired.

- Zlatna kuna for the life's work from the Hrvatska gospodarska komora
Podravka established a foundation for graduate and postgraduate students in her honor in 2001.
