Zourab Tsiskaridze Jr. (born September 8, 1986 in Tbilisi , Georgian SSR ) is an American football player.
Life
Zourab Tsiskaridze was born in Tbilisi, Georgia, but came to the United States before the dissolution of the Soviet Union and was granted US citizenship . He has two younger brothers.
Career
Youth career
Used as a midfielder and defender , the 1.85-meter tall soccer player attended McLean High School, Virginia and was an outstanding soccer player while in school. He began his career in Limeira , with the local association AA Internacional (Limeira) . He then moved to Gremio Barueri for six months in 2005 . Before graduating from high school, he was with DC United . After graduation, he did not manage to be accepted into college soccer and therefore sought a professional soccer career.
Professional career
Tsiskaridze began his professional career in the reserve team of the Sporting Kansas City club . His dream was to get a contract in Europe and began his career in Europe with the French club FC Sète . He was under contract with the club for 18 months and played seven games in the National (D3) . Zourab moved in April 2009 to, in the USL First Division , club Miami FC , after he convinced the coaching staff after an open test phase. On December 2, 2009, he signed a contract with the Vancouver Whitecaps club . From 2011 to 2014 he was under contract with the following clubs: Montreal Impact , Amkar Perm , Jönköpings Södra IF and FC Bangkok Glass . He has been under contract with the San Antonio Scorpions club since 2015 .
