Zsófia Dolník-Domány

Zsófia Dolník-Domány (born September 8, 1988 in Senta , Vojvodina , Yugoslavia as Zsófia Domány ) is a Hungarian - Serbian chess player . Until September 2004 she played for the Chess Federation of Serbia and Montenegro, since then for the Hungarian Chess Federation.

Playing on the second board, she won the 2006 European Championship in Balatonlelle with the Hungarian U18 national team for women . At the 2007 Women's Mitropa Cup in Szeged , she played on the first board of the Hungary D team, the fourth Hungarian women's national team.

She plays club chess in Hungary for the first team of Makói Spartacus Vasas Sportegyesület from Makó , in Slovakia for ŠO EuroPRESS Bátorove Kosihy , a club from Bátorove Kosihy ( Hungarian Bátorkeszi ), a town in Slovakia with a Hungarian majority. In Division 3 of the British Four Nations Chess League (4NCL), she played for the Slough Sharks in the 2005/06 season .

Since November 2008 she has held the title of International Women's Champion (WIM). She achieved the norms for this at two Caissa IM tournaments (in September 2005 and August 2007) in Kecskemét and in the Hungarian team championship 2007/08. Her Elo rating is 2175 (as of June 2020), her highest to date was 2215 in September 2011.
