Zumbusch (noble family)
Zumbusch is the name of a Bavarian aristocratic family whose direct lineage begins with Gerhard Anton Zumbusch (around 1651–1714), documented in the years 1673 to 1682 as von Ascheberg'scher Rentmeister zu Ichterloh near Herbern ( Westphalia ).
Nobility uprisings
- Austrian knighthood on February 15, 1888 in Vienna for the sculptor Caspar Zumbusch , professor at the Imperial and Royal Academy of Fine Arts Vienna after being awarded the 3rd Class Iron Crown Order .
- Enrollment in the Kingdom of Bavaria in the knight class on February 17, 1905 for Caspar's son Ludwig Ritter von Zumbusch , painter and professor in Munich.
- Enrollment in the Kingdom of Bavaria with the knight class on May 25, 1914 for Caspar's son Leo Ritter von Zumbusch , later full professor of dermatology at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich and secret medical adviser .

In a shield divided by blue and silver, a red-brown three-mountain , the center of which is overgrown by a three-stemmed natural oak bush . Two helmets with blue and silver covers ; on the right a pair of four identified natural acorns between five green leaves existing oak branch between two of silver and blue split buffalo horns , on the left, a closed, silver and blue diagonally split flight .
