Life

Zuzana Ferjenčíková studied at the University of Music in Bratislava with Ján Vladimír Michalko and at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna with Peter Planyavsky . Her main focus is on organ music from the Romantic era as well as organ improvisation and organ composition for concerts and Roman Catholic liturgy. 2000–2008 she taught organ and organ improvisation at the University of Music in Bratislava. In 2013, in a series of seven concerts at the 24th Organ Festival at the Church of Saint-Eustache de Paris , Zuzana Ferjenčíková dedicated herself to the entire organ work of Jean Guillous , who celebrated his 50th anniversary as titular organist there that year.
