Zuzana Moravčíková (athlete)
Zuzana Moravčíková (born December 30, 1956 in Nitra ) is a former Slovak middle -distance runner who started in the 1980s for Czechoslovakia , whose special distance was the 800-meter distance .
Career
At the European Athletics Championships in Athens in 1982 , she was eliminated in the semifinals. The following year she won silver at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Budapest and again reached the semi-finals at the World Championships in Helsinki . In the 4 x 400 meter relay of the World Championships, she was used in the Czechoslovak relay and won the bronze medal together with Taťána Kocembová , Milena Matějkovičová and Jarmila Kratochvílová .
In 1984 the ČSSR boycotted the Olympic Games in Los Angeles . In the alternate friendship competitions, Moravčíková won silver.
Outdoors she was Czechoslovakian champion in the 400 m in 1980 and in 1981 and in 1984 in the 800 m, in the hall in 1982 and 1985 in the 800 m.
