Petrojet football team was promoted to the Egyptian Premier League for the first time since its establishment 4 years ago for the 2006-07 season. Petrojet team reserved their ticket to the Egyptian Premier League after a fierce competition with a number of strong teams like [[Tersana]], [[Al-Sekka Al-Hadid]] and others.


Petrojet was promoted to the [[Egyptian Premier League]] for the first time in their history only six years after their foundation, as they were promoted from the [[Egyptian Second Division]] during the [[2005–06 Egyptian Second Division|2005–06 season]].
Petrojet's coaching staff is currently led by Mokhatar Mokhtar, former player and coach of top Egyptian club [[Al-Ahly]].

Petrojet Sporting Club (Arabic: نادي بتروجيت الرياضي) is an Egyptian sports club based in Suez, Egypt. The club is related to Petrojet, a construction company that specializes in oil, gas and petrochemical industries.[1]
