Production
The movie is currently in production in St. George and Salt Lake City, Utah as of February 19th, 2007.
In early February, 2007, three of the cast members were reported to be holding out for a more lucrative contract.[5] The actors involved were Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu and Vanessa Hudgens. Disney Channel representatives claimed rehearsals would begin on schedule at the end of February, and by the 13th, Tisdale, Bleu, and Hudgens agreed to new contracts. [1]
The Disney Channel High School Musical site put up a poll[6] for what the viewers want to see in High School Musical 2.
It was reported in The New York Times that part of the movie will be set at a baseball game, instead of the original's basketball setting.
