The 2008 Rome Masters will be the second clay tournament in the Masters Series of the 2008 ATP Tour and in the Tier I Series of the 2008 WTA Tour. Both events will take place at the Foro Italico in Rome, Italy, with the men playing from May 3 through May 11 and the women from May 10 through May 18, 2008.

The men's field will feature Swiss ace and Monte Carlo Masters runner-up Roger Federer, defending champion, Monte Carlo and Barcelona winner Rafael Nadal and Australian Open champion Novak Đoković.
