Mitchel Tate Musso^[1] (born July 9, 1991) is an American film, television actor , well as a Hip Hop/Rap, R&B, Pop Rap singer best known for his role as Oliver Oken in Disney Channel's Hannah Montana.

Biography

Musso grew up in Garland, Texas, a Dallas suburb, with his brothers, Marc and Mason (Marc is an actor; Mason is the lead guitarist in the band Metro Station). He landed his acting role when the movie, Secondhand Lions needed two little boys to play two of the characters. Mitchel was very fortunate and he got the part and he got to act alongside his brother, Marc. Coincidentally, the actor who starred in Secondhand Lions was the brother of Emily Osment, who he would later work with on Hannah Montana. Currently, Mitchel stars on Disney Channel's series, Hannah Montana as Oliver Oken. He was also in a disney movie called Life is Ruff with Kyle Massey as Raymond Figg. He is good friends with his co-stars Emily Osment, Jason Earles, & Miley Cyrus. He even plays Jeremy in Phineas and Ferb, a boy who Phineas' sister, Candace (played by Ashley Tisdale), has a crush on. They are often calling over their phones & often text-messaging each other.

Career

Musso is best known for starring in Disney Channel movies and the TV series Hannah Montana as Oliver Oken. Other acting credits include Raymond Figg in the Disney Channel Original Movie, Life Is Ruff, and the voice of Aang in the unaired version of the pilot episode of Avatar: The Last Airbender. Musso was the voice of DJ in the Academy Award-nominated film, Monster House. He is also expected to film Hannah Montana:The Movie in early 2008 alongside Jason Earles, Miley Cyrus and Emily Osment. Mitchel was in the first Disney Channel Games in Summer 2006 on the Green Team and in 2007 was in the Disney Channel Games Red Team. He also starred in the TV movie Walker Texas Ranger: Trial by Fire alongside Chuck Norris. Mitchel is currently performing at Disney Jingle Jams and has plans to release a CD in the future, which will be under Hip Hop and R&B influences. He was doing preparties in many different areas. He has a few songs recorded already, including: Lean on Me, White Striped Gloves, Wasn't Your Girlfriend, Red Carpet and Let's Go. You can find almost all of his songs on YouTube.

Music

Mitchel's been in the recording studio a lot lately. recently he recorded a remixed remake of the song, "Lean On Me", for the new Disney DVD, Snow Buddies. And soon after recording, he shot his first ever music video for it, which will be on the Snow Buddies DVD as a bonus feature. And Mitchel was also happy to find out that his new song would be on the Radio Disney Jams 10 CD. And as of February 3rd, his song was made #15 on the Radio Disney Top 30 Countdown.

Also, he has his own rap album in the works, and even co-wrote 6 songs for it. He even has some songs recorded already. You can hear "White Striped Gloves", "Red Carpet", "Let's Go", and "Wasn't Your Girlfriend" on YouTube, along with "Lean On Me". All of released his songs are:

Mitchel also has the song "If I Didn't Have You" with Hannah co-star Emily Osment for Disney Mania 6.
