Edoardo Liberati was born on December 18, 1992 in Rome is a professional racing driver from Italy. He studied at scientific high school (Liceo scientifico "Louis Pasteur"), and still lives in Rome. In 2008 he became famous because he won the Italian title in Formula Azzurra making him the youngest driver to win a FIA championship car.

Karting

Edoardo Liberati began karting in 2006 in the Italian 100 Junior Championship, finishing as runner–up in the series the following year. In the same year he also finished second in the Lazio Regional Championship.

Formula Azzurra

Edoardo Liberati began his single-seater career in 2008 by participating in the Formula Azzurra series in his native Italy. During the season he took victories at Magione and Misano along with five further podiums to win the title by 12 points from Greek driver Stefanos Kamitsakis.[1]

Italian Formula Three

The following season, Edoardo Liberati moved up to the Italian Formula Three Championship, joining the BVM–Target Racing team alongside Formula Renault graduate Daniel Zampieri.[2] He contested the first four rounds of the season before moving to rival outfit Lucidi Motors to replace fellow Italian Marco Zipoli, who in turn took Liberati's seat at BVM–Target. He finished in the points on five occasions to be classified 13th in the standings. He also finished fourth in the rookie classification.[3]

Edoardo Liberati continued in the series in 2010, switching teams to join Andrea Caldarelli and Samuele Buttarelli at the Prema Junior squad.[4] He finished 9th in the standings after securing two podium places at Vallelunga and Monza. He finished level on points with the EuroInternational entry of Gabriel Chaves, but was classified ahead of him on countback.[5]

Edoardo Liberati will continue in the series for a third season in 2011, joining Team Ghinzani.[6] In this season he set the consecutive pole position Italian record, with 4.

Italian gt3 series and Blancpain endurance series

Edoardo Liberati left the Italian Formula Three and in a first moment he made a test with Audi DTM factory team in Monteblanco, later he became BMW Italy factory driver in Italian gt3 series, driving the BMW z4 gt3 where he obtained 3 wins, 3 podiums, 3 fastest laps,5 starts from the first row.

In the same year he was the youngest driver ever racing in the 24 hours of Spa part of the Blancpain endurance series.

Porsche Carrera cup Italy

Edoardo Liberati in 2013 left BMW to arrive in Porsche Carrera cup Italy Championship, where he remained for 2 years. In the first one he obtained 10 podiums, 2 fastest laps and was 4th overall. In the same year he took pole position and win the 100 miglia di Magione with Corvette z06 gt3.

In the latest year, 2014, Edoardo became young driver in the Porsche scholarship program in the Porsche Carrera cup Italy and he finished it with 1 win, 2 fastest laps and totally 10 podiums.

He won the title of European Mitjet series.

Lamborghini Supertrofeo Europa and Asia

The year 2015 saw a breakthrough for Edoardo Liberati: he became official young driver racer in Lamborghini Supertrofeo Europa and Lamborghini Supertrofeo Asia, with one presence in Lamborghini Supertrofeo America. He is the only driver who joined all the 3 Lamborghini series in the same year. At the moment he reached in ASIA 4 wins, 3 pole positions,3 fastest laps,6 podiums, in EUROPA 3 podiums, 3 start from the front row, 1 fastest lap, while in AMERICA raced in Road Atlanta.

In the same year he drove in Mitjet italian series getting 3 pole positions, 1 win, 4 podiums in only 4 races.
