(10370) Hylonome is an asteroid belonging to the group of centaurs .
It was discovered on February 27, 1995 by David C. Jewitt and Jane Luu at the Mauna Kea Observatory ( IAU code 568) in Hawaii .
It was named on July 26, 2000 after the centaur woman Hylonome , wife of the centaur Kyllaros .
