(10449) Takuma is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 16 October 1936 by the French astronomer Marguerite Laugier at Nice was discovered.
On January 7, 2004, the asteroid was named by the Japanese astronomer Hitoshi Takuma (* 1949), who is engaged in observing solar flares and spots.
