Marguerite Laugier ( September 12, 1896 - June 10, 1976 ), b. Lhomme was a French astronomer .

She worked at the Observatory in Nice from the 1930s to the 1950s. Contemporary astronomical articles call her Madame Laugier . She discovered numerous asteroids. The asteroid 1597 Laugier was named after her.

Note: Not to be confused with M. Laugier in the literature (here M. stands for "Monsieur"), who was Paul Auguste Ernest Laugier (* December 22, 1812 - † April 5, 1872 ).
