(11530) d'Indy is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 2 February 1992 by the Belgian astronomer Eric Walter Elst at the La Silla Observatory ( IAU code 809) of the European Southern Observatory in Chile was discovered.

The asteroid was named on May 23, 2000 after the French composer and music theorist Vincent d'Indy (1851-1931), who tried in vain to reform the Paris Conservatory and after the rejection of his ideas in 1894, the Schola together with Charles Bordes and Alexandre Guilmant Cantorum founded.
