(1154) Astronomia is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 8 February 1927 by the German astronomer Karl Wilhelm Reinmuth at Heidelberg State Observatory King chair of the University of Heidelberg was discovered.
The name of the asteroid is derived from the Greek name for the scientific branch of astronomy .
