(12104) Chesley is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 22 May 1998 by the Lowell Observatory Near-Earth-Object Search project of Lowell Observatory was discovered. Its original name was KO 6 in 1998 .
Naming
It was named on July 28, 2002 in honor of Steven R. Chesley , an employee of JPL's Solar System Dynamics Group .
