(13032) Tarn is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 7 October 1989 by the Belgian astronomer Eric Walter Elst at the La Silla Observatory ( IAU code 809) of the European Southern Observatory in Chile was discovered.

The asteroid was named on August 19, 2008 after the French river Tarn , which rises on the high plateau of Mont Lozère in the Cevennes and flows into the Garonne as a right tributary below Moissac .
