(1401) Lavonne is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 22. October 1935 by the Belgian astronomer Eugène Joseph Delporte in Ukkel was discovered.
It is named after the granddaughter of Maud Worcester Makemson , an American astronomer and orbit calculator.
