(20136) Eisenhart is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 8 July 1996 by the American Italo- astronomer Paul G. Comba at Prescott Observatory ( IAU code in 684) Arizona was discovered.

The asteroid was named after the American mathematician Luther P. Eisenhart (1876-1965), who made important contributions to differential geometry and, from 1925, to Riemannian geometry .
