(2135) Aristaeus is an asteroid of the Apollo-type , which on 17 April 1977 by scolding John Bus and Eleanor Francis Helin at Palomar was discovered.

It was named after the god Aristaios from Greek mythology, who was revered as the inventor of beekeeping and as a protector of shepherds and hunters.

(2135) Aristaeus is an Apollo asteroid and thus crosses the earth's orbit. Calculations show that the asteroid will approach the earth on March 30, 2147 to within 5,000,000 km (approx. 0.033 AU ) according to the current orbital elements .
