(2201) Oljato is an asteroid of the Apollo-type , on 12 December 1947 by Henry Lee Giclas at Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff was discovered.

The name Oljato means something like water in the moonlight and is another name for Monument Valley in the USA .

Oljato is believed to be the original body of the Chi Orionid meteor shower .
