(26357) Laguerre is an asteroid of the main belt , the American Italian-December 27, 1998 by astronomer Paul G. Comba at Prescott Observatory ( IAU code in 684) Arizona was discovered.
The asteroid is named after the French mathematician Edmond Laguerre (1834–1886), who is considered to be the co-founder of modern geometry .
