(263932) Speyer is an asteroid of the central main belt . It was discovered on April 22, 2009 by Erwin Schwab at the Tzec Maun Observatory, Mayhill , USA and initially had the provisional designation 2009 HY 44 .

In June 2011 the asteroid was given the number 263932 and, at the suggestion of the discoverer, was named after the city of Speyer , where Schwab's father-in-law was born. The publication appeared on June 15, 2011 in Minor Planet Circular number 75354.

(263932) Speyer belongs to the Juno asteroid family , named after (3) Juno .
