(4135) Svetlanov is a main belt asteroid discovered on August 14, 1966 by Nikolai Stepanowitsch Tschernych and Tamara Mikhailovna Smirnova at the Crimean Observatory .
The asteroid was named after the Russian composer Yevgeny Fyodorovich Svetlanov .
