(4520) Dovzhenko is an asteroid of the main belt , which was discovered on August 22, 1977 by the Russian astronomer Nikolai Stepanowitsch Tschernych at the Crimean Observatory in Nautschnyj ( IAU code 095).
The asteroid was named after the Ukrainian writer and director Oleksandr Dowschenko (1894–1956).
