(571) Dulcinea is an asteroid of the main belt , which was discovered on September 4, 1905 by the German astronomer Paul Götz in Heidelberg .

The asteroid was named after the character Dulcinea del Toboso from the novel Don Quixote by Miguel de Cervantes .
