(606) Brangäne is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on September 18, 1906 by the German astronomer August Kopff at the State Observatory in Heidelberg-Königstuhl ( IAU code 024).
The asteroid is named after the Brangäne family.
It was named after a character from the opera Tristan and Isolde by Richard Wagner .
