(9514) Deineka is an asteroid of the main belt , which was discovered on September 27, 1973 by the Ukrainian - Soviet astronomer Lyudmyla Shuravlowa at the Crimean Observatory in Nauchnyj ( IAU code 095).

The celestial body was named on March 18, 2003 after the Russian painter , graphic artist and sculptor Alexander Alexandrowitsch Deineka (1899-1969), who was awarded the gold medal at the Paris World Exhibition in 1937 and was vice-president of the Academy of Fine Arts of the USSR from 1962 to 1966 was.
